Great bookshop, trough they didnt have exactly the book I wanted (theres not that much greek authors translated into english after all, which is understandable because of the market), the ladies in the shop spoke English and they were so nice to give me reccomendations on other great greek authors. They showed me the books and told me a lot about them, you definitelly have to go there when you love literature and are visiting athens :).

A greek friend recommended this bookshop for English language translations of Greek fiction. The section is small but has some good choices and to my limited knowledge, this is the only bookshop in athens where you can find English translations of Greek novels (pls let me.know of others). The sales assistant was was super helpful.and I bought Maro Douka's Fools Gold which am looking forward to reading.

Awesome place for booklovers!!!!! I really didn’t expect for them to have such great collection of English books for the european history and Greece history too. This is the best bookstore in Athens in my opinion for foreigners who come to Athens to hunt good books.

Lovely bookshop in one of the main roads of Kolonaki. The space is well designed allowing for flow of the visitor to gaze the books very friendly staff and great variety in books. Must visit

Amazing place, lovely people, great selection of books and incredible vibe! I wanted to find a selection of English children books for my nephews and I was amazed by the variety of choices. Angeliki and Ilianna were very helpful and made sure that I got the right books.

So nice, cozy and full of great books. We were there to buy children books (books for a toddler). The selection is amazing both in Greek and English. And the lady there was truly helpful and friendly.

I can only speak to this wonderful shop’s English selection, but it is fantastic. There’s an incredible collection of modern and contemporary classics including translated fiction (Lispector, Morrison, Coetzee, Carson, Carter, Saramago…) and 19th Century classics (Austen, Dostoyevsky…). The staff were lovely as well.

Amazing experience :D Great selection of english books from contemporaries classics and there’s a tiny section of greek authors translated in english which I loved to see. The staff was great as well, very warm and welcoming and even held a but of a conversation which is always a nice experience. Overall, I recommend this place. If you’re in a pinch but still want to buy some books, this place is the way to go. It’s also quite close to Syntagma square. Out of all the bookstores I’ve been to, probably the best experience I’ve had.

The so well known bookshop has been one of the most pleasant spots in the funky area of Kolonaki 8 years and counting! You enter and the most delightful picky selection of books is waiting for you, both in English and Greek! Art objects mostly by greek designers, surround the beautiful books too. The children's section is a heaven on earth kind of situation ☺️

Spontaneously entered in this beautiful bookshop, great selection of books. Also jewelries and lovely ceramic available. The ladies made my experience better, being there with recommendations and a smile and their faces. Thank you🫶🏼 …
